Status Update

Hi everybody ! Long time no see huh? *nervous laughter* Yeeeeaaah I'm not that active here, am I. Thought I'd give people an update anyway since some of you - crazily enough ! - still follow me here.

I'm entering my third year of an Animation Course Bachelor during which I will be creating a +3 minutes long short film, by myself and I can already tell it's going to be in the good old 2D animation ! I'll probably talk more about it on other websites.

Speaking of which !

I'm mostly active on Twitter but I check my Facebook and Tumblr on a daily basis ! I'll put some links at the end of this journal if you ever want to follow me there.

The reason why I'm less active on dA is mostly because I was lastely using it for RP group purposes, but I have so much to do that it's not possible for me to do that anymore. As you might already guess, because, us, artist, are very busy people *wiggles fancy moustache* and so, I'm very busy myself ! Everyday I need to find the time to talk to my friends, to learn more techniques in drawing, painting, animating, I need to prepare my upcoming 3rd year by creating concept arts and character design, I need to find the time to not stress (and let me tell ya it's not as easy as one might think !), need to find the time to eat, sleep, to make a portfolio to use to apply for a Master, to create things to sell online or in conventions ETC ETC ETC ANYWAY.

Basically yeah, I'm busy and even if I keep this account to check on other artists' gallery, I don't use it much for myself anymore.

Species Masterlist + Rules

Hey guys ! This Journal is going to be a Work in Progress. It will gather the rule you should go by when buying a design from me ( They will most likely be the same as a lot of other people so I'll try to keep it short but it's best if you read everything) AND a Masterlist of all the Species I will create over time. Thanks for your interest !

Legend:


- Bullet; Pink Personal Project : The specie has informations whether it is on their appearance or about their habits/story. Please restrain from copying.

- Bullet; Pink Open Specie : The specie may have informations whether it is on their appearance or about their habits/story. You can totally create your character but it should be for personal use only, not for sell although you may give your character away.

Why PERSONAL PROJECT? What about Common CLOSED/ORIGINAL SPECIE?


I really don't like the tag "Closed Specie" and I don't want use this tag I prefer to call my species "Personal Project". The ideas I have are ideas that every people can have, I just put some ideas in some Personal Project, and I think this is useless to ask people to not copy something created by other people. Internet is big, there will always be someone to copy other creations. All the restriction like "only me can do that" is very useless. You won't see Akira Toriyama  asking people to not create a Saiyan to sell as a character, it's just implied that nobody like other people using their ideas to earn money. I don't have the copyright to a single trait, I just reserve the right to call "Personal Project" the specie I create from scratch.

Credit to Piffi-sisters with their journals/tips (Here, Here and Here) which helped me a lot understanding the very concept of adoptable, start making my first Species AND even make this journal !

Okay. I'm trying to be more social, and I've felt a bit nostalgic of when I used to be more active in here, so I'm gonna try and submit more shit. More shit that will not be very important.
